I know I promised these pictures AGES ago, but... Grad school? That has officially become my excuse for everything. Anyways, here are some of my favorites from my dear friend, Erin's, wedding. We've known each other since seventh grade, and it was so special to share this special day with her. Congratulations, Matt and Erin!

Snapshot III
Life has been more than a little crazy lately. I'm only a few weeks away from finishing my first semester of grad school (my GOODNESS!). There've been quite a few trips to see the best friend-girl weekends and baby showers- before the arrival of her darling girl (who decided to make her appearance a few weeks early). And I've been trying to get as many uses as possible out of my Disney World Season Pass, because, well, why not?! Needless to say, there've been lots of grad school papers, projects, and pictures to edit over the past month...

A Weekend Adventure
I'm off tomorrow for a fabulous weekend adventure in Orlando. Of course, this means I'll be returning with lots of magical pictures and maybe a few spooky ones as well. It's one of my closest friend's birthdays and my best friend and I have a fantastic surprise lined up for tomorrow night; I can't wait!
Hope you all have a lovely weekend!

Snapshot: II
It's FRIDAY! And I am sorely behind on these Snapshot posts, so be prepared for a very random assortment of iPhone pictures from the last couple of months. I'm planning on having a nice, lazy weekend: catching up on my Smashbook, perhaps reading a book from my "to read" pile, and cleaning my room. Maybe I should've said I'm having a "spend no money" weekend, as that sounds like a much more appropriate description. Lazy, not so much. What're your plans for the weekend, adventurers? Whatever they may be, I hope they're full of good weather, good food, and good friends! Here's to a fabulous weekend!

Matt & Erin: Sneak Peak
Before I jump back into post-processing land, I just wanted to stop by and share a couple photos from a wedding I shot the weekend before last. Erin and I have been friends since middle school, so I couldn't pass up the opportunity to capture what is sure to be one of the happiest days of her life. The weather might've been dreary, but the enthusiasm of everyone involved in this wedding more than made up for it!

Tick Tock
I also owe you guys the rest of my Disney pictures, and more than a few playlists. So, be on the lookout! My year of service with AmeriCorps is ending soon, and I'll be starting a new journey: Grad School. Yikes! Which means I'll have plenty of crazy stories to share. Happy Tuesday, everyone!

Further On
Better late than never in posting my June playlist. Normally when I'm putting a collection of songs together, I have an event or specific mood that serves as inspiration, but that's definitely not the case here. I knew that I simply had to use Chad Valley's Shell Suite, as I've been obsessed with it since watching Warm Bodies. Which means, this is probably one of the most all-over-the-place playlists I've ever put together. Regardless, I promise it's still worthy of the repeat button! Grooveshark was very uncooperative today in their selection of songs, so I've included the names and playorders of the missing songs after the playlist.
6) Falling for the Beat, Andrew Ripp
10) Whenever You Love Somebody, Matt Wertz
11) Drive, Charlie Barclay
12) Belong, Cary Brothers

XoXo
My dear, sweet adventurers,
I have not forgotten about you! It seems life is trying to foil my well-laid blogging resolutions. Between studying for the GRE (which I took today and passed, YAY!), applying to grad school, trying to find a new job, and house repairs after a pipe malfunction, my life has been a little crazy. Thankfully, we finally have internet again and I have lots of exciting pictures and stories to share! So, thank you for your understanding... I promise my next post will be full of Disney pictures and crazy tales!

Keep Together
One of the goals on my list of 27 things to do before 27 was to make a playlist for each month. This is one of the few that I've actually been able to check off, so far, as accomplishing. Over the next couple of weeks, I'll be backlisting the playlists I've created so far, but for now I'm going to start with this month's list. Enjoy, adventurers!

Adventures of the Literary Kind
"You can never get a cup of tea large enough or a book long enough to suit me."Sometimes the heart wants what the heart wants- to be completely cliche and sentimental (I'm never anything, if not sentimental)- and more often than not, my heart wants books. Over the years I've collected quite the library, with shelves overflowing and stacks towering. Even the faithful books from my childhood, their spines cracked and pages yellowing from years of literary adventures, remain. (I think the hardest job in the world must be bookshelf spring cleaning!) I'm always willing to welcome new additions, whether I have been anxiously awaiting their release date, or just happened upon them at the bookstore.
-C.S. Lewis
Of course the magical Neil Gaiman's newest anthology has been one of the former, along with the newest publication from the Audrey Hepburn Foundation. The other two novels, both picked up on a whim, look extremely promising and particularly enchanting. One, is about a mystical culture clash- The Golem and the Jinni, and the other, The River of No Return, tells the tale of time-travel society who saves the life of a historical soldier. Tell me they don't sound fabulous! It seems my summer reading list is already growing quite large, but I promise to give all you adventurers the full details as soon I finish my literary excursions!

"The Love of Beautiful Things"
Since spring is all about new beginnings, it seems only right to give myself a second chance and get to it. Which is where this blog comes in. Not only will it give me a place to showcase one of my true loves: photography, but it'll also give me a way to share all of my adventures, big and small. I can 100% guarantee that there will be lots of silly stories; heart-clutch, smelling-salts needed, fangirl moments; book reviews; and tea parties. If these things sound just up your alley, then you've come to the right place! So, my fellow adventurers, while I go cross number 21 off my list, I leave you with this:
As they sang the hobbit felt the love of beautiful things made by hands and by cunning and by magic moving through him, a fierce and jealous love, the desire of the hearts of the dwarves. Then something Tookish woke up inside him, and he wished to go and see the great mountains, and hear the pine-trees and the waterfalls, and explore the caves, and wear a sword instead of a walking-stick. - J.R.R. Tolkien, The HobbitHere's to creating lots of memories and magic. We're only just beginning.
